Back to the grind

How was everyone’s Thanksgiving weekend? The A household’s holiday rocked, thanks for asking. I spent 14 hours in a car with my husband, a 10 year old and a 7 year old and a baby Jack Russell Terrier, and there was absolutely no bloodshed. YAY! We had a fantastic time in Michigan. We ate, we rode horses, we ate, we shopped, we ate AGAIN, we ate, we put up my sister’s christmas tree, we ate, we watched movies together, we ate, we ate, and oh, then, (you guessed it) we ate. Elli rolled in horsesh*t. A good time was had by all. I wish I could write as well as Erin because she would’ve made a much funnier story out of that.
In other news, my ficus (AKA George) had REALLY gotten out of hand, just completely bushy and cocky and waaaaay too big for his britches. It took a couple hours, but now he is all pruned back and his branches are braided and wrapped. This apparantly caused enough trauma so as to force him to develop MPD to cope, but there is now three of him. George is not aware of the other two personalities and I don’t think integration will ever be an option, so the other two, Sybil and Victor, will always be there to protect him. So now I have three ficus. Ficuses. Ficusi. Anyway.
